I am Diane Kilpatrick Rice and I live in Northwest Arkansas. I studied at New England School of Art and finished my degree in Studio Art at the State University of New York at Oneonta, New York.
I have had a career in design and graphics before discovering photography.

My inspiration comes from quiet images contrasted with the profound light and shadow I see everywhere. I love landscapes with fields of sleepy animals. I look for timelessness always.
My images are always taken later in the afternoon while my husband and I get lost driving the countryside or down a dry riverbed.
